We believe that suicide is a serious problem in Ohio, and here in Lake County. We also share a commitment to doing what we can to help reduce the incidence - as well as the devastating impacts - of suicide.

There are three very specific things on our to-do list:

1. Increase awareness that suicide is a serious public health and mental health problem in Lake County
2. Reduce the stigma associated with suicide among our fellow Lake Countians
3. Improve people's ability to seek and get help
