The Lake County ADAMHS Board
- The ADAMHS (Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services) Board is responsible for planning, managing and funding mental health and recovery services in Lake County.
- ADAMHS funding flows through a network of service providers including Neighboring, Crossroads, Pathways, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Bridges, Laurelwood Hospital, Western Reserve Counseling, the Lake Geauga Center on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, and others.
- Its work is overseen by an eighteen member Board of Trustees - all Lake County residents who serve without compensation. The Board's makeup includes medical professionals, mental health and recovery experts, consumers (people who need and use services), relatives of consumers, community leaders and business professionals.
