Looking for a speaker? The Lake County Suicide Prevention Coalition offers a "road show" that's perfect for your service organization, PTA, church association, or other group. The free presentation offers an interesting and eye-opening overview of suicide. Bottom line: people who see this presentation may be able to save someone's life, because they'll be better armed to spot the symptoms, say and do the right things, and access the appropriate resources. Presentation length can range from 25 minutes to an hour, depending on your group's needs. Audience members will each receive one of our suicide prevention wallet cards - a handy, concise reminder of what to do and where to turn should the need arise.
